EMPOWERing Youth with Visual Impairment (EMPOWER VI) is committed to expanding access to high-quality educational resources that support individuals with visual impairments, their families, and the professionals who serve them. We encourage the sharing, use, and adaptation of our website content and educational materials to support learning, professional development, and improved outcomes for youth with visual impairments.

Unless otherwise indicated, original content published on the EMPOWER VI website, including educational materials, courses, instructional resources, and other website content, is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), subject to the exclusions described below.

Under this license, individuals and organizations are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the materials in any medium or format.‍

The license applies only to materials for which EMPOWER VI holds the necessary rights and has explicitly identified as available under this license. Third-party content, including photographs, videos, illustrations, and other externally sourced resources, may be subject to separate copyright and licensing restrictions.
